My Care Philosophy

My approach to wellness and personalized medicine is client-centered and holistic. Wellness is beyond your physical health; it includes mental health and spiritual well-being. I use my education and training in functional medicine to discover the root cause of disease/symptoms for optimal health and wellness. I believe stress management, sleep, diet, exercise, and customized supplements are all important components of optimizing your health, along with appropriate health maintenance screenings. I approach symptoms and chronic disease management through a functional medicine lens and work with all clients to help them live their best lives. During the last 20 years, my background includes OB/GYN, family medicine, primary care, ER, and urgent care. I am also a certified functional medicine practitioner.
