Clinic Staff Recruiter

The Good Clinic is seeking an outstanding Clinic Staff Recruiter (CSR) candidate to help our clinic team grow and prosper in multiple markets across the country. Under the direction of the Chief Nurse Practitioner Officer, our CSR will be responsible for cultivating professional relationships to source, recruit and hire for roles such as Nurse Practitioners, Certified Medical Assistants, LPNs, and other clinical staff as needed with the rapid company growth. The CSR administers the overall process to include researching and sourcing potential candidates, confirming their credentials, arranging the required interviews through the completion of the process of professionally communicating the company’s hiring decision. The goal of the CSR is to assure the best candidates are hired as efficiently and effectively as possible.

Job Functions:

  • The Clinic Staff Recruiter is responsible for service excellence throughout the recruitment cycle. The position acts as a brand ambassador for The Good Clinic, focused on delivering exceptional talent while providing proactive and timely communication on the status of the search. They serve as a subject matter expert in talent acquisition and provide consultative direction and industry expertise to company leadership.
  • Maintains understanding and knowledge of the organization’s staffing, recruitment and retention initiatives and unit-specific staffing needs and the timing of those needs. Implements creative recruitment tactics that attract new and experienced staff; is aware of local, state, and national labor and recruitment trends; develops short- and long-range plans. Implements best practices for recruitment and retention. Develops effective recruitment plans to fill open positions within scope of responsibility with quality candidates.
  • Actively researches and screens applicants and their credentials. Conducts candidate screens, face-to-face interviews and recommends top candidates to Chief Nurse Practitioner Officer. Recruits for all Nurse Practitioners, Certified Medical Assistants, and required clinic-level positions. Analyzes industry equity, recommending compensation rates. Supports leadership as they negotiate and extend hiring offers.
  • Tracks and trends staffing needs by clinic and market. Meets routinely with leadership to plan and anticipate needs based on business development strategies; collaborates with Chief Nurse Practitioner Officer to help in developing plans for filling positions.
  • Meets position productivity goals (for example, offer accepts, time to accept, 90-day loss rate, 90-day loss count, and other measures of productivity to be identified by supervisor).
  • Proactively develops and supports relationships with local educational institutions, professional organizations/associations and other job seekers sources and referring organizations related to recruitment portfolio. Helps develop co-op, internship and other programs to source and attract candidates. Serves on boards or committees to find candidate sources and provide input regarding desired workforce qualifications and attributes. Actively takes part in recruiting events, other marketing, and media events to promote, sell, and attract the best qualified and talented clinic staff.

Employment Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum Years and Type of Experience: 3+ years recruitment experience with a focus in clinical staff required. Experience working in a healthcare setting with multiple regions and/or sites.

Other knowledge, skills, and abilities required:

  • Advanced use of staffing tools such as job boards, and social media (CareerBuilder, Indeed, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, AANP, etc.)
  • High level of understanding of HR concepts, policies, and procedures - EEO laws and others related to clinic staff recruitment
  • High understanding of clinic staff labor market conditions and healthcare workforce
  • Proven ability to contribute in a fast-paced, results-oriented work environment consistently and positively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Prior applicant tracking system experience preferred
  • Excellent time management skills, flexibility, and willingness to support multiple projects, adapts easy to change
  • Ability to deliver results in an ambiguous environment with ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong influencer
  • Ability to use good judgment and maintain confidentiality
